I think Lucas and Peyton are both kinda messed up so they deserve each other. I love them don't get me wrong but you are right, they hurt Brooke way too much. Peyton did not even really deserve Jake tbh, he was just something she was using to get over the way her life was going.

I think the writers got a little too messy and back and forth with the whole Peyton wants doesn't want Lucas, and then vice versa.. at some point it got a little bit old, like just or have them be cute and moody together or not!! I did like the idea of Jake and Peyton together because she always cared for Jenny, and I feel that they had a real bond from the beginning since he initially trusted her with his "secret". It kinda sucks that she used him to get over Lucas... I think the writers just wanted us to have a couple that was steady like Haley and Nathan.. and then one that would struggle but eventually find there way like Peyton and Lucas

Honestly? What Lucas and Peyton did in the earlier seasons was messed up. I mean, Im pretty sure everybody agrees that BrookexJulian are endgame, but the way that Lucas hurt both Peyton and Brooke was TERRIBLE! I sort of never understood how Peyton could go back to Lucas after everything that went down, even the whole Lindsey storyline; like sheesh talk about toxic relationships.

I personally believe that Peyton should have ended up with Jake.After everything that went down with her, Nikki, Jake and Jenny, Jake could still find love and compassion in his heart for Peyton. Their relationship was pure and healthy, unlike PeytonxLucas.

So at the end, I felt like the endgames should have been
