Angie was the child who Brooke Davis fostered in order for her to recieve care for her heart condition. Brooke bonded with Angie greatly during their brief time together, but she was eventually returned to her parents after Dr. Ethan Copeland successfully operated on her heart.

Angie comes to Tree Hill on a fostering scheme set up for children in poverty who need surgery for them to survive.
At first, Brooke thought Angie didn't like her or she wasn't doing well at parenting but finally got the hang of things Through Angie she got the inspiration to set up Baby Brooke, a lucrative brand of clothing especially for little girls. Dr. Copeland performs her heart surgery and is a success and Angie has to go back home to her parents, much to Brooke's disappointment. A heartbroken Brooke drops Angie off to the airport and says her goodbyes to her foster-daughter.
