Apartment 11, located at 176 Oakmont Terrace, was a single-bedroom apartment in Tree Hill, North Carolina. Introduced in the first season, it was initially the home of Nathan Scott after his emancipation from his parents and, after their marriage at the end of that season, of Haley James Scott. After their separation, however, Nathan moved back into his childhood home, thus allowing Brooke Davis to move in at the start of season three. With Haley's return to Tree Hill, Brooke allowed her to move back in and the two became roommates.

Upon Nathan and Haley's reconciliation and their vow renewal at the end of the third season, Brooke decided to return the apartment to Nathan and Haley and temporarily moved in with Peyton Sawyer. At the end of their senior year of high school in the fourth season, however, Nathan and Haley moved in with his mother, Deb Lee, while Brooke and Peyton took up residence in the apartment.

History[]

Nathan Scott first rented the apartment after his emancipation. Later, he married Haley James who moved in with him, to the apartment. However, after their brief split, Nathan decides to move back home with Deb. As she starts her senior year, Haley moves back into the apartment, but realizes that she has to share with Brooke as she had paid the deposit for the space as well earlier in the summer. They soon grow to cohabitate as roommates and eventually, close friends for a few months, but once Nathan and Haley got back together following the shooting, Haley and Nathan decide to move back into the apartment, while Brooke moves out and lives with Peyton, and then Rachel. After finding out that she's pregnant and realizing that Deb's sobriety is a major concern, Haley and Nathan leave the apartment for the final time to move back into his house. As Rachel leaves town and her house being sold off, Brooke decides to move back into the apartment for the rest of her senior year with Peyton as they try to rebuild their friendship. Soon, after the school year is over, Brooke and Peyton move out of the apartment for good as they move to Los Angeles and New York. The apartment is never seen again.

Trivia[]

  • While the name and address of the apartment complex were not known until the second season, the apartment number was revealed during a conversation between Haley and Lucas in the eighteenth episode of season one. ("To Wish Impossible Things") This is confirmed by the number appearing outside the apartment's front door, which can clearly be seen during conversations on the apartment balcony.
    • The building number, 4375, can be seen in the third episode of season two during Nathan and Haley's bachelor and bachelorette parties. ("Near Wild Heaven")
    • The apartment's address, 176 Oakmont Terrace, was first shown on Nathan's unpaid utility bills in the twenty-first episode of season two. ("What Could Have Been") Earlier in that season, however, a slightly different address was shown on his notice of suspension from Tree Hill High School. While it cannot clearly be seen, the original address appears to be located at Oakmont Terrace but it featured a different number. ("Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows")
    • During Brooke's residence in the apartment in the third season, the apartment's address can be seen in full on a letter addressed to her from Lucas: 176 Oakmont Terrace, Apt. 11, Tree Hill, NC 01982. ("First Day on a Brand New Planet")
