Template:Character1940 Dan Scott was the mustache twirling owner of the Comet Club, a rival to Lucas Scott's Karen's Cafe. He wasn't opposed to using unlawful methods to further his business such as bribery and abuse. Many residents of Tree Hill City suspected him of murdering Keith Scott, something Marvin McFadden died trying to prove. He also raised Peyton Sawyer as his surrogate daughter after her mother's passing.
