Anna Rebecca Sawyer was the wife of Larry Sawyer and the adoptive mother of their daughter, Peyton. She died in a car accident while driving to pick her daughter up from school when Peyton was nine. Her death would have a major impact on both her husband and Peyton, though it would eventually bring them closer together.
Peyton would sometimes visit her grave at the cemetery.
