Glenda Farrell was a Tree Hill High student and a confidant of Lucas Scott whom he befriended after the two were paired together for a class project in their senior year.
Character History
Before the Series
Glenda made up a imaginary boyfriend and sent flowers to herself to spite her mom. Her mom, was popular in high school, and teased Glenda about her looks and weight because of it. Glenda told her mom that her boyfriend and her were getting serious. After dragging Glenda to the doctor's, Glenda's mother said ‘I don’t know who would sleep with you, but here you go.’ and Glenda said back "I don't know who would sleep with you either, but here I am. They didn’t talk for the following 8 weeks, and all she did was drop Glenda off at school and pick her up in silence.
Season 3
Glenda was in the current gym for the ravens where they would go when Jimmy Edwards brought the gun to school. Her mom came and asked Brooke Davis where Glenda was because Glenda told her they were friends. Eventually, Brooke finds Glenda and Glenda tells her she knows her mom was there but she wanted to see what her mom would do if she lost her, she thought her mom took her for granted.
Season 4
Glenda was first seen in episode 4 talking to Brooke Davis about the Clean Teens club. Glenda was seen again in episode 13. She and Lucas get paired up for an assignment. Glenda's mother showed no interest in Glenda, until Lucas told Glenda that he could trust her, in front of her in the same episode
Trivia
- Glenda's both first and last names are exactly the same as the actress Glenda Farrell who starred in Mystery of the Wax Museum. Ironically, in the films second remake, House of Wax released in 2005, Chad Michael Murray starred.
