Template:UnseencharacterKaren Roe was the mother of Lucas Scott and the creator and owner of Karen's Cafe. She, at one point, had a relationship with Dan Scott, but eventually found love with Keith Scott. However, after his untimely death she fled Tree Hill City in grief, giving her club to Lucas. She later died of a broken heart.
Everyone who knew Karen held her at extremely high regard. Once Lucas Scott gained ownership of the club, he attempted to hold up the high reputation that Karen set for Karen's Cafe.
