Details: Lydia and Jimmy married young and her parents disproved on the union. But the two have a caring and committed relationship. With her husband Lydia had seven child and both Jimmy and Lydia raised them in an loving environment. After there youngest, Haley got married the two fulfilled their dream of traveling around the country in an RV. Although Jimmy soon died leaving Lydia heart-broken by his death until hers.
Details: Lydia's relationship with Taylor, like her daughter's relationship with her father, isn't as strong as Lydia's relationships with her other children due to Taylor being percieved as the screw-up of the family and often dissapointing her parents. However, Lydia has never displayed any disdain for Taylor and is often stated to love her children equally. When Lydia annuced she was dying, Taylor went into denial and refused to see her family. Until Quinn came to tell her Lydia had little time left. So Taylor went to she her mother and broke down not wanting to loss her and be left unloved, the trouble child. But Lydia told Taylor that before she settled down she was just like Taylor and out of all her children Taylor was the most similar to Lydia and one day she would find love like her siblings. Taylor was there when Lydia passed away.
Details: Like Jimmy, Lydia had a good relationship with Quinn and helped shape her into the person that she is today. Before her death Lydia rented Quinn a gallery so she could work on her dream and they were able to spend time together before her death. After Lydia's death Quinn opened her gallery in honor of her mother and had decided to name her first-born daughter Lydia but when Haley fell pregnant shortly after Lydia's passing Quinn allowed Haley to name her daughter Lydia instead.
Details: Taking a relaxed approach to parenting their children, Haley's mom assumed that she was pregnant they day she told them that her and Nathan were getting married. Learning they were doing it out of love, Lydia was shocked at the idea, but eventually came round to it. Her father, Jimmy, was not too keen but Lydia persuaded him due to them getting married at such a young age. The two ended up being the side of the family who were supportive of the young couple's marriage and even became a witness at their wedding. Before Lydia death her and Haley were able to spend time together. But Haley took her mothers death the hardest and struggled to give up hope on curing her mother. And after she died Haley fell into a deep depression until she became pregnant with her daughter, Lydia.
Details: Vivian is Lydia's oldest daughter and, being as Lydia was very close to all her children, it can be presumed that she and Vivian had a good relationship. It is possible that Vivian has a free spirited attitude was influence somewhat by her parents who were also very relaxed and forgiving in their parenting like her sisters Taylor and Quinn.

Details: Being raised by Jimmy and Lydia gave the boys are very laid back environment but very loving and considering Taylor was the problem child its likely the brothers were well behaved and held a good relationship with both their parents similar to the ones held by their other sisters.
Details: After Lydia agreed Nathan could marry Haley, the two formed a strong caring relationship and before her death she told Haley that she knew Nathan was the one for her. She also spoke to Nathan thanking her for looking after her daughter while Nathan thanked for raising the women he loved.
Details: Lydia had a very close relationship with her grandson until she died and Jamie was greatly effected by her sudden death. But they were still able to spend time together before she died and they talked about his grandfather. They shared a very close relationship like Lydia shares with all her children. And before she dies Jamie reads are a story his mother would read to him when ever he was ill to help her feel better.
Details: Lydia first granddaughter through Haley was born over 9 months after Lydia's death from cancer. And before her death Lydia had ask Haley when she was going to have more children. And Haley named her daughter after Lydia.
