Marvin "Minkus" McFadden was a would-be reporter who was stuck in his job as a gossip columnist and desperate to find a story to make an impact. He was extremely loyal to Lucas Scott and Karen's Cafe and was the first to discover that Lucas' rival Dan Scott killed Keith Scott. He was killed by Dan as a result of this knowledge via drowning.
