Melle Whitehead was the sister of Alice Whitehead and who, like Brooke Davis, apparently had problems getting pregnant and eventually found out that she couldn't.
Alex stated that her sister was a lot older than herself, which may have been the reason for her fertility problems, although Brooke doesn't believe she existed. ("You Know I Love You, Don't You")
