Ravens was the television series developed by Julian Baker. Inspired by Brooke Davis's experiences in high school, Ravens was also partially based on Lucas Scott's novel, An Unkindness of Ravens. The series was filmed in Tree Hill, North Carolina.

Plot[]

While the exact plot is unknown, it is likely that Ravens follows a similar premise as the first few seasons of One Tree Hill. However, the series would center on Brooke Davis and be told from her point of perspective, chronicling the love triangle between her and best friend Peyton Sawyer over Lucas Scott, as well as the marriage of Nathan Scott and Haley James. Mouth McFadden as a sports commentator for the Ravens and Skills Taylor as a Tree Hill Raven teammate as Nathan and Lucas Scott supportive friends who helped them guide the way. Another aspect that would've been altered was the fact that Julian Baker was added as a character to the series, where he would eventually become Brooke's boyfriend.

Characters[]

The series includes many characters who played a role in Brooke Davis Baker's life and in Lucas Scott's book; like their close friends and relatives but there are five major characters. Julian Baker is an added character and love interest for Brooke Davis.

Trivia[]

  • While the name of the fictional Ravens television series is a reference to the Tree Hill Ravens and an abbreviation of An Unkindness of Ravens, the novel by Lucas Scott on which it is largely based, it is also a direct reference to the original working title of One Tree Hill during production of the pilot episode. It was not until after the pilot was picked up to series that Ravens was renamed One Tree Hill.
