Tree Hill Shopping Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Tree Hill, North Carolina. During earlier seasons of One Tree Hill, several of the main characters were known to frequent the shopping center's retail stores, which included a Macy's and Suburban Filth.
During the first season, the mall was the location of Nathan Scott's first job, which was at the Hot & Twisted pretzel stand in the food court. In the third season, Brooke Davis briefly worked at clothing retailer Suburban Filth, though she later departed after they refused to give her credit for her designs and began her own clothing line, Clothes Over Bros.
One of the more notable locations within the mall was its carousel, on which Lucas Scott had a fling with Nicki in season one.

Trivia[]
- Scenes at Tree Hill's shopping mall were filmed on location at Independence Mall in Wilmington, North Carolina. Establishing shots of the exterior, however, were re-used stills from previous television series, such as My Wife and Kids on ABC.
- The Victorian carousel, which was a defining feature of the mall during its appearance on One Tree Hill, was later dismantled and removed in early January of 2012.[1]
