The school only had two sports being football and basketball but everyone prefers football and most of the male students play on the team.
Football []
Football was The Citadel's primary sport it had a roster of most of its students though the only known member of the team is Jacob James who played for the team as a wide receiver turned quarterback helping the Phoenix win the state championship three times before the team disbanded after he switched schools. The team was disbanded after Jacob James left the school to attend Tree Hill High and also because of a constant losing streak.
