Are You Ready is a original fanfic created by JL the superhuman. It serves as the pilot to the series.
In the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina, Jacob James, his sister Haley and his girlfriend Emma are eating dinner at the cafe with Karen and Rebecca respectively. Haley explains to Jacob that he become a Raven, but he disagrees with her. At the high school, Lucas and Nathan play a high school basketball game.
Rebecca Valentine
Rebecca Josephine Valentine is a resident of Tree Hill and former school teacher from Chicago, Illinois who moved to Charleston, West Virginia when she was pregnant with her daughter, Emma. After Emma was constantly bullied, Rebecca made the decision to leave Charleston and move to Tree Hill, where Emma could go to a school known as The Citadel. Later, she befriends Jimmy and Lydia James as well as their son, Jacob who becomes her daughter's boyfriend.

Qucob
Qucob is the ship name for the sibling relationship between Jacob James and Quinn James. They were born to Lydia and Jimmy James, four years respectively. When Quinn found out her brother was suffering from Asperger syndrome, she vowed to help him. Although Haley a strong relationship with him, he and Quinn were closer and had a much stronger relationship.
While Haley and Nathan were preparing for Jamie's seventh birthday, Quinn dropped in to see them and would eventually reunite, with her little brother.
