The wedding of Clay Evans and Quinn James was the second marriage for both spouses. Clay was widower, having lost his beloved wife and mother of his only child, while Quinn was divorced from her first husband. They decided to elope so when Clay regained custody of Logan, Quinn could adopt him at the same time.

There was not a real ceremony. The two had a "flash" wedding, although the bride, at first, wanted to make a grand wedding.
